What Is Mutation Its Types And Affects

The Cell of humans contain large amount of DNA in their composition.If any changes occur by mistake or during replication is known as mutation in cell.If mutation occur in somatic cell is not pass to next generation but occur in genetic cell it transfer to offspring.

▉ Classification of mutation.

• Chromosomal mutation.

Chromosomal mutation occur in chromosome the number of chromosome change by addition of extra chromosomes or removal of chromosomes.This chromosomal change lead to syndrome of klinefelter,or down.

• Point mutation.

The alteration of DNA nucleotide sequence and affect the message of command center is known as point mutation.
