Shortage of water in body fluid. What is meant by osmosis? When water move from higher concentration to low concentration is called osmosis. Define hydrophytes? Those plants which live in water Define xerophytes? Plants live in dry condition is calles xerophytes. How plants secrete their metabolic waste? Excrete their waste in body as a harmless substance and then convert nontoxic insoluble substance.some waste gums,resin,latex. What is homeostasis? Maintenance of internal body condition to make at equilibrium state. What is excretion? Elimination of waste material is called excretion. What is meant by pressure filtration? Blood enter the kidney through renal artery then go glomerulus so pressure of blood is high and water salts glucose urea of blood more pressurize the glomeruler. What is the size and weight of human kidney? Each kidney is 10cm long,5cm wide and 4cm thick and weight about 27 grams. What role is played by lungs in homeostasis? Lungs maintain the concentration of carbon dioxide in blood.carbon dioxide produce they perform cellular respiration. What is kidney failure?
